Friday Mornings 7:30 a.m.
Gentlemen, begin your week praying for the needs of our church and our members. The Men's Prayer Group meet each Monday at 7:30 a.m. in the old fellowship hall for about a half hour. For further details, please contact Merv Webb at mervwebb@comcast.net.
Women’s Ministry
Friendship Circle
The Friendship Circle will be meeting at the home of Bliss Boyers on Wednesday, February 1 at 9:30 a.m. We are collecting much needed items for the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Harrisonburg. They need Newborn to Size 4 diapers, Baby Wipes, Powdered Formula, Baby Blankets, and Baby Clothes for the first year, excluding shoes and socks. There is also a need for Maternity clothes. A big "Thank You" to everyone who will help to meet these needs. If you have any questions, contact Ann Cisney.
Women's Bible Study
The Ladies' Bible Study will continue February 14 and 21 discussing Praying the Names of God. Join us at the UC at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday nights.
Ladies' Prayer Meetings
We meet the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Wednesday mornings of the month from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Ladies gather in the library downstairs to pray for the needs of the church and our people. Join us as we go on a mental prayer walk through the activities and needs of the church and enjoy the close fellowship that comes through praying together.
Young at Heart We have changed the age limit to 50 instead of 55. Winter is more than half over, so get yourself geared up for the Young at Heart pot-luck luncheon that will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 9 at West Side Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Chicken will be provided by the Young at Heart. A community resource officer from the Harrisonburg Police Department, Rachel C. Hammer, MPO will speak on "Safety for Seniors."
