Operating Plan for September 2020 During COVID-19

On SEPTEMBER 6, we plan to hold our first service back IN OUR SANCTUARY. Any who feel comfortable worshiping in person are invited! Please read the information below about what to expect at our in-person services for the time being.
 
Returning to Worship Inside at WSBC: What to Expect

Before leaving your home:
● Check your temperature. If you have ANY fever - enjoy the live feed at home.
● Make sure you have your mask .
● If necessary, use the restroom.
○ Restroom availability at WSBC will be limited to urgent needs to maintain social
distancing and meet sanitation requirements .
 
Upon arrival: ( Check In opens at 10 a.m . - Service will start promptly at 10:30 a.m.)
● ONLY the sanctuary, foyer, and restrooms (in an emergency) are open .
○ All members, even those with keys , are asked to refrain from wandering the
building to keep our deep cleaning/sanitization process to a manageable level.
● Maintain social distancing at all times while at WSBC .
● Park and put on your facemask. Facemasks are required at all times .
● Go to the check in table located under the office entrance overhang.
○ Check in is to record attendance, so that you may be contacted in the event of
exposure to a positive case. Please keep in mind that you will be asked the same set of questions you are asked at the door of any public building right now. 
 
After Check In:
● While maintaining social distancing , wait under one of the canopies.
○ All entry will be through the doors near the playground marked ENTER ONLY.
● You will be brought into the building and ushered to a specific pew.
○ Those living in the same household can be seated together, others will be seated
6 feet apart to maintain social distancing requirements.
○ Seating will occur from the front of the sanctuary to the back - NO exceptions.
This is to maintain social distancing.
 
During the Worship Service:
● There will be no congregational singing.
○ Studies show that projecting your voice increases the potential spread of
coronavirus through the spray of particles ejected by singing.
● Offering plates will be located at the rear entrance of the Sanctuary.
Dismissal:
● Please remain in your seat at the end of the service until dismissed.
○ Rows will be dismissed one at a time - back to front
● Volunteers will direct you out of the building, use door marked EXIT ONLY .
● Maintain social distancing at all times while exiting the building and returning to
your vehicle. 
 
Our office and campus is currently still closed to the public. We are maintaining our regular business hours virtually and encouraging staff to work from home when possible.
