Arise My Soul — He is Risen!

Easter at WSBC is one of the most meaningful mornings of the year, and we would love to celebrate it with you. Whether you’ve been with us for years or are joining us for the very first time, you are warmly welcome. Come experience the hope, joy, and life-changing message of the resurrection.

Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord
across three special services this Easter season!

Maundy Thursday Service

Thursday, April 2 — 6:00 PM

Before the celebration of Easter Sunday, we invite you to pause and reflect at our Maundy Thursday service. This intimate evening gathering commemorates the Last Supper — the final meal Jesus shared with His disciples before His crucifixion — and calls us to remember the depth of His sacrifice on our behalf.

Join us for a meaningful time of worship through special music, the Lord’s Supper, and a message from Pastor Troy that will prepare your heart for the wonder of resurrection morning. This is a service that will draw you closer to the cross and make Easter Sunday all the more powerful.

Easter Sunday — April 5

Sunrise Service — 6:30 AM

There is something deeply moving about greeting Easter morning as the sun rises. Our outdoor Sunrise Service is a reverent and inspiring time of worship, Scripture, and reflection on the empty tomb. Dress comfortably for the morning air and come ready to be moved by the beauty of this sacred tradition.

Breakfast — 7:15 AM

After the Sunrise Service, stick around and share a meal with your church family! Our Easter Breakfast is a warm, casual gathering where old friends reconnect and new guests feel right at home. A great meal and great community — the perfect way to start Easter morning.

Children’s Crafts — 8:15 AM

We want kids to experience the joy of Easter too! Our Children’s Crafts time is a fun, hands-on activity designed to engage young hearts and minds with the Easter story in a creative, age-appropriate way. Drop the kids off for some Easter fun while you enjoy some fellowship time before the main service.

Small Groups — 8:15 AM

Running at the same time as Children’s Crafts, our Small Groups offer adults a chance to connect in an intimate setting around God’s Word. It’s a great opportunity to go deeper, ask questions, and engage with the resurrection story in a more personal way before the full congregation gathers for worship.

✝️ Worship Service — 9:30 AM

Our Easter Worship Service is the centerpiece of the morning — a full, joy-filled celebration of the risen Christ. This year, our choir will present a special cantata: Arise My Soul, He Is Risen!

The cantata takes you on a moving journey through the Easter story, from the life and ministry of Jesus to the cross, the empty tomb, and the triumphant resurrection. Featuring beloved songs like The Beauty of the Blood, Behold the Lamb, and Name Above All Names, woven together with narration, this is a worship experience you won’t want to miss.

Come ready to be moved by the greatest story ever told — He is risen!

Yes! He is risen — and that changes everything! We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
